quick description: a guy with a guitar + a girl with a violin. to the lit buffs: yes, the name is derived from the oscar wilde short story. these two brits make beautiful emo rock, inspired by the smiths, rilo kiley, and the pixies. but seriously...listen to these guys, you will not be disappointed. the song tomorrow features a glockenspiel, harmonica, and strings...and it sounds wonderful. if anything, they're the best excuse to explain why you love the english.

okay...so i talked about these guys earlier today. but...they've got an awesome emo/alt/indie sound. i can't wait to see these guys along side the early november. walking downtown will get you hooked into this band...check them out.

okay...if you know anything about my dating history, then you know why this band jumped out at me and what sparked my curiousity. but, dismissing all of that, i found a duo from michigan that makes great emo music. this band was formed little over a year ago, and i can't wait to see what else they come out with. they're out to prove that they're not just another dash clone...and they will do well in proving so. check them out.
