okay...so...let's see...here's the stereotype so far:
[orange.county | theatre.major]
[~] work at disneyland
[~] study theatre at csufullerton
[~] say that you hate orange county, american idol, and everything trendy
[~] secretly love all of these
there's one more element of stereotype for the aspiring actor: seek employment at a restaurant.
as we speak...i'm awaiting to get a call back from mimi's cafe. that's right...so, if there is any stereotype about being a theatre major in orange county...i've fulfilled it...and i hope i get the job...because i need another source of income while my beloved resort is in off-season. and...if i can get promoted from host to server: tip money. man...i hope i get the job...soon.

maybe every week...i'll post a few bands at mp3.com that have caught my attention. 'cause right now, i think you need to be listening to some of these independent bands.

i've been listening to their demo cd for awhile...these guys rock. you can hear a definite maturity and growth in their current sound, in comparison to their earlier stuff. chris gave me my first taste of these guys, and they've got a uniquely different thing going on.

i stumbled onto these guys on the emo chart...and they've got a rockin' sound. if you like the early november, then you should give these guys a listen. they're a featured band this week, and i can definately hear why.

i first heard about these guys from a few of my co-workers talking about them...awesome sound. give em a download. seriously.
//i.had.these+dreams+that.i'd.learn.to[play:guitar]
since my mom isn't using the acoustic guitar, nor the electric guitar+amp, i decided to take both of these, put them in my room, and teach myself how to play. that's right baby...it should open up more options in my songwriting, since piano-punk often gets incorporated with something corporate...and, i am looking for a different kind of sound, similar maybe...but, something distinctly different...a distinctly different sound from anyone (hopefully...since everything is derivative these days). but, yeah...i'm pretty psyched...i love playing the electric guitar, that sh_t roxors.
okay...time to surf the net for tabs.
