i've been listening to a lot of emo music lately...i've really been digging it.

as a result, my music-writing has been diverted from hip-hop to rock...it's been cool...it's a different kind of outlet.

the song i've been working on sounds pretty cool so far...i like it lyrically and musically so far, but i really need to work on the hook...i'm stuck on that part, that and the drum beat during trasitions and the hook...right now, i really like it.

i bumped into carie today, it was cool. everytime we bump into eachother, it's really cool. when i think of it, it sucks that we spent most of high school hating eachother...but, it's the past...right? yeah.

so, yeah...i'm looking for new bands to get into...i've been getting into something corporate, dashboard confessional, jimmy eat world and taking back sunday...so, anyone have any other suggestions for bands to get into??
